Constitutional Law

Attorneys in this practice area handle cases involving rights protected in the state or federal constitution.  HBH&S has been involved in significant state and federal constitutional issues involving federal overreach, civil rights matters, deprivation of rights and issues related to the limits of governmental power and the abuse of power.  These cases involve matters that HBH&S attorneys have tried and heard in the Idaho Supreme Court and the United States Supreme Court as well as lower courts including the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.  In addition to handling cases, HBH&S lawyers in this practice group advise businesses related to their constitutional rights and/or the rights of their employees.
