Probate and Trust Administration
The term "probate" can be generally defined as the process by which a deceased person's estate is administered and distributed to heirs, devisees or creditors, and by which that person's will is declared valid or invalid.
Often, probate can be a quick and relative inexpensive process. Other times, the process can last for several years, depending upon the complexity of the estate and whether disputes exist among interested parties, and can even cross over state lines.
If you were nominated as the Personal Representative in a will, or are otherwise interested in an estate, come and visit with the attorneys at HBHS. We can give you the advice needed to proceed forward, including the initial determination of whether probate is even necessary.
